The Panasonic AS600 2014 serie are: AS680U, AS640U and AS650U. These models are mid-high range, and have many differences but all are Smart TV.
The AS650U model is a Smart TV but also includes 3D technology. Also notable difference is 1200Hz as BLB. The techonology 3D is passive, indicating mount a IPS panel, offering less contrast than other TV series.
The Panasonic AS640U is a Smart TV without 3D, the panel is VA and offers better contrast than the 3D model. The BLB is 240Hz. The design is the same as in the other models but the frame is black.
The AS680U panasonic is only available in 55 inches and it is not 3D. It is the same TV that AS640Y with silver desing also the BLB is 3000Hz, ideal for watching sports.
