Opinion Sony W950B: IPS pannel with low contrast

The Sony W950B is the best FullHD TV by Sony 2014.This TV is the top of the Japanese company. The Sony W950B includes Smart TV (SEN) and passive 3D. This TV includes all the latest technologies to improve image quality, but the panel is IPS and features a rather poor native contrast. The technology with Local Dimming Triluminious panel offers excellent natural colors, but this TV has worse image quality than the lower series W8 2014. Connectivity is excellent with 3xUSB 4xHDMI and, like the design.

Conclusion:
Our opinon about the Sony W950B is not good, this TV is really expensive and does not offer a good picture quality, less constrast that its competitors, including the lower series W8 models, which have better 2D  quality that this TV, and it is much more expensive. The Smart TV and extras are fine, the wedge-shaped design is amazing, but most importantly not up to scratch, the 2D quality. Our recommendation is not to buy the Sony W950B, we suggest buying some model of the W8 series of Sony.
